HOSPITAL BUILDING PROJECT
IAM’s current mobile medical clinics are able to treat between 1,000-1,200 patients annually but without permanent facilities, all supplies have to be brought into Haiti for each hospital. Medications are shipped months in advance and a lack of space limits the amount of medical supplies – limiting the number of patients treated.
In order to address the problem, IAM plans to build a permanent hospital in Kenscoff Haiti. The permanent hospital will safely house supplies and medications in Haiti, which will allow for more trips to Haiti – and more patients treated – each year. Computerized records will also be implemented to track patient history and treatment.
The hospital will be built in 4 phases:
– Land Acquisition
– Building Construction
– Stocking the Hospital
– Staffing the Hopital

EDUCATION SAVES LIVES
To IAM, sustainability means educating before medicating.
