Help needed after Hurricane Matthew
With the recent tragedy of Hurricane Matthew hitting the country of Haiti, many of you have asked how to help. Right now IAM is evaluating the situation with our partners on the ground. With the poor infrastructure in the hardest hit areas it is difficult to say where the greatest needs will be, however, food and clean drinking water will be at the forefront. To those of us that love Haiti, the images that we see are not nameless images. These are photos of our brothers and sisters and the buildings where they live, seek education and worship. With that said we first ask for your prayers. Secondly, Financial support is needed. For over 30 years IAM has worked in Haiti with a 100% volunteer staff and Board of directors. Your donation will go directly to support those in need through food, medical supplies and sending teams to assist those in need. If you, your church, your civic club or your employer would like the opportunity to donate, please visit our Donate button at the top of the page, or send donations directly to PO Box 281634, Nashville, TN 37228. Thank you and God bless.
WHAT ONE MEDICAL CLINIC CAN DO
International Allied Missions (IAM) has taken dozens of medical trips to serve thousands of Haitians. With a permanent medical clinic, however, tens of thousands of Haitians could receive medical care that is both trustworthy and affordable. Our goal is to build a medical facility that enables year round medical and surgical care, dental practice, vision testing, and pharmaceutical resources. We envision not just yearly trips, but a constant cycle of medical staff treating those in need.
In Haiti, 60% of the population lacks even the most basic of health care services. There are very few government sponsored clinics and a ratio of 1 doctor to every 10,000 Haitians. Our mission is to empower indigenous leaders in the developing world with the teaching, training, and tools they need to bring hope to their communities in Jesus' name. By building a permanent clinic in Haiti, we will be able to train native Haitians to sustain the type of medical treatment that is so desperately needed. Clinic proposal here.
FUND A MEDICAL CLINIC

COME ON OUR NEXT TRIP
Not a doctor or nurse, but still looking for a way to serve? IAM is always in need of non-medical volunteers for our trips.
Traveling to Haiti is challenging and requires flexibility, compassion and creativity. A trip with IAM could be your opportunity to use your skills and abilities to impact lives, and could be one of the most rewarding things you could ever do.
